I've been getting back in to Twilight Princess lately - in about a week and a half I went from Death Mountain to Snowpeak, and I'm still working on it.  Having been fed the entirety of the backstory a second time, I've been forced to revisit the question of whether I prefer Zant or Ganon as a villian.

And my answer remains unchanged.

Zant will always be more awesome.  He conquered the world of Twilight, turned everyone into shadow beasts, then conquered Hyrule in something like a day.  Ganon only ever manages to take over one castle.  Besides that, Zant is both cold and cunning, as well as being the insane type of villain, which is my favorite kind.  Ganon is just condescending and rather generic, not to mention being cast and recast throughout the entire Zelda series since the beginning.  And being a large pig - although, in fairness, Ganon's beast form in TP was pretty incredible.

So, what do you guys think?  Zant or Ganon?
